VALVE TIMING
DESMODROMIC (tm) valve timing, two valves each cylinder, controlled by four rocker arms (two opening and two closing rocker arms) and by four lobes OHC. It is controlled by the crankshaft through cylindrical gears, pulleys and toothed b elts. The valve opening and closing diagram is the following (checking data with a clearance of 0.20 mm):

LUBRICATION
By pressure through a gear pump, oil filters through net filter on drain plug, and filter cartridge.  Low pressure indicator placed on the instrument panel.

COOLING SYSTEM
Pressurized system using radiator and thermostat.  A water pump, which is controlled by the camshaft, circulates fluid.  Expansion tank absorbs the thermal expansion of coolant.
