I was lucky in getting a pair of mikuni’s from a 750 monster, with manifolds and throttle with cables. But I have a couple of questions regarding some of the hoses. There are 2 hoses from the top of the carbs, one on each carb., with some kind of filter and a steel spring / wire around them, and they have en inner diameter 8 mm.. Where are they supposed to be attached? There is also on the manifolds two nozzles on each of the manifolds. Are they to be blocked? And finally, would any one have links or some good pictures on how there setup looks like regarding the above?
Regards

Nilaus,
Expect the bike to be transformed. Have put the Mikunis on about 2 months ago and still can not believe the difference. I have removed the air air box and filter, just have 2 foam pods. The intake sound when you open the throttle is wonderful.
The bike now idles at traffic lights and can accelerate with full throttle with absolutely no hesitation or hickup. Just like it was designed to.
Fraser.
