| Post subject: | failing sprag clutch symptoms |
I've read about starters not engaging and the fix for it, a definition of how the clutch works and so on, but haven't seen if what I am experiencing can be caused by the same. As I kill the engine it seems to be grabbing the starter and spinning it over. I am hearing something I can't explain yet and need to do some more digging but though I'd ask...Could it fail and force engagement (lock up when the rpm's drop) as well as not engaging? Thanks. I'm going to look through the manual download and see what I find. |
