I've not spent much time around dragstrips, but that sounds like an excellent reaction time. I'm curious, did you try changing up anything to see if you could improve the E.T. by doing so, i.e. tire pressure, different air filters, etc? edit: I guess that was partly, a silly question. I can't see anyone out there removing body work while on the line, hehe. |

Hi Skins (the philosopher) I did a PSAO search on youtube. No photos I'm afraid. We were all having too much fun racing. We're trying to make it into an annual event. We did it 2 years ago for the first time before I had the PASO. For me it was the first time I had really grabbed a hand full of throttle before letting go of the clutch so I didn't know what the bike was going to do. After that it's just tucking my 6'3" in as best I can, being straight, taking it to redline in each gear and being assertive with the gear changes. The bike would be in the 12s with more practice on the starts, some warm tires and a rider that is 20 or 30kg lighter would help too. |
