There are two different types on the Paso's and Sports. Two pickups in the case, and a single pickup version that mounts from the outside of the case at the 2 o'clock position with two little screws. The latter was common in the California bikes, as there is no way to adjust the timing. As mentioned, the gap is critical. The single pickup type is set with little shims. The ST2 motor is similar in regard. The single pickup version used the Magnet Marelli 2s computer, which is a finned aluminum box under the seat with a big wire connector and a vacuum hose attached.
