After browsing this forum, I decided to register. There seems to be many knowledgable people here, which is great since I just bought my first Ducati. I have had bikes all my life, many japanese, and a couple of Harleys, but I'm new to Ducati's. So far I love it. I do have a few kinks to work out, and I'm sure I will have some questions. Here are a couple of pictures of my bike. [/img] |

It had 3644 mi. on the clock when I bought it. I don't know if the speedo was broke or disconnected at any point, but it works now. The mileage on the title, and the condition of the bike, make me think that the mileage is accurate. I'm sure you guy's will know this one. Did this bike originally come with Pirelli tires? I was reading through some old threads here, and I thought that they came with Pirelli's. If so, then I believe it still has the original tires. They are Pirelli MP7's. |

Really a nice bike, and welcome! Yes, once you might find both pirelli and Michelin tires. Pirelli has stopped production many years ago, so your tires might be quite old, but they're original! |

Be carefull with Your tires, cause they are very old ones and can be too hard already and thats why also dangerous! Anyway, WELCOME  |

I definitely don't trust them (the tires) enough to get too crazy on the bike. I will have to get new tires soon. From what I've been reading, it looks like I'll be buying some Michelin's, and that may not be easy to find. |

The Pirelli's were OEM but they are easily 20 years old and hard as ROCK. Be careful on them. Michelin is the only tirtes made now in the OEM sizes. A59 and M59. There available here in the USA if you go online and look for them. The mileage looks right. It still has the refelctors on the forks! |
