Following are the number of Paso's imported into Australia. The source is a document produced by the Ducati Owners Club of NSW in 1991. (This covers ALL Ducatis brought into Australia between 1964 and 1990, it has not been updated since)

I cannot confirm how accurate these numbers are but I assume they would be reasnably OK. Hope these are some help.
Count me in on the OZ connection, I am in Newcastle with a grey 89 906.
