Post subject: | Motor Weight? |
Hello Gentleman, I'm still trying to get my new/old/dead 750 paso back on the road. I've located a running motor. The seller would prefer to clean out the garage with lots of misc parts including a titled frame with the motor mounted. Shipping is astronomical! 1. Suggestions for shipping would be appreciated. It is not a rolling chassy, rather a crate of parts. 2. Also If I can persuade him to sell me just the motor anyone know what it weighs? If it is under 150lbs (which I doubt) I can probably use UPS or DHL. Thanks in advance, |

No idea on the weight, but I'm sure shipping will be a few hundred dollars and have to go via freight. Shipping is often a little cheaper if you go dock-to-dock instead of to a residence. I no longer have any buddies who are truck drivers, so I can't help you there, either. The guy with the parts isn't located in NC, is he? |

I've heard to say it's about 65 kgs (143 lbs) but I don't know if this includes accessories (such as carb and so on) |
