How does the leaver feel. Is it very soft or ??. It seems that it is activated all the time. I would try again and pull it apart and assemble it again. Check also that the slave piston works. But bee gentle with it, just press the piston slowly to check that it can move freely, and pull the clutch leaver, to check that it can move freely out, and again be careful that you don’t pull to much so the clutch slave piston comes out. On the other hand worst that will happened is that you need to bleed the system
