Anyone replaced fork seals ? I was wondering how to get the old ones out. Obviously the dust seal lifts off and there is a clip on top of the oil seal that will have to be removed but what is the best way to get the old seal out?. And the other thing - what air pressure should be in the forks? ![]() Cheers Tony |

Hi, No air in the forks, I've been told by others on these forums, the valves can be used to bleed air out of forks. To get seals out use flat bladed long screwdriver, go under the seal lip and lever them out . I have found that a quick bang on the end of the screwdriver usually flips them out. .You can use a rag or small piece of timber to protect fork leg rim. Hope you have some success .., Cheers .......Marty |
