Hi all, I think my Paso is too stiff when I drive it over little bumps, how can I make the shocks softer? The front can be adjust with the red nut from 1 to 4, is set to 4 right now. How I adjust the rear one?, I think I have the second kind that can be adjust on the shock with the nut and on a gold color tube on the main frame... and in what position? Thanks for your info. did you check the user manual ? rear: unscrew the knob to reduce spring load. |

Thanks, that means lower numbers less spring load, so less stiff? Sal |

I`m not near to the bike so I don`t know about the numbers but turn the knob counterclockwise to soften the shock and clockwise to stiffen it. Fork - from user manual: "front fork anti dive adjustment: the adjuster is located at the bottom of the right slider. Changing the adjusting knob position from 1 to 4 (putting it, one step at a time, near to the fixed reference located under the knob) will increase resistance to braking "dive". Factory setting is 2" If you`re fork is too hard, when was the last time the fork oil and seals were changed and what kind of fork oil do you use? G. |

Thank you very much, I think is more clear now for me. I don't know what kind of oil I have in it, The bike is like new has 6,000 Miles and probably is the original from factory. I know make a difference the tires too. My front tire is old and need to be replace. I just moved from Illinois to California and I noticed the freeways here have a different pavement, is very bumpy. never has issues in Illinois about shocks settings. I wish there was someone here in my area that has a paso, is anybody on the forum lives close to Pasadena, Glandale, Altadina area? ![]() Thank very much, Salvatore |
