Gents, my brakelines are still the original ones. No complaints, but after twenty years of service they should be replaced. On my 851 I've got HEL-lines. Top product, but a bit expensive. Anyone other experience..? cheers Léon |

Hi Brutus, I recently blew a rear brake-line on my 907 so replaced it with braided. Looks good, works, what more can I say. While I was in the process, I ordered a new set of braided from the UK for the front. |

I have made by myself steel braided lines to my Ducatis. Here its easy to buy all needeed stuff from such shop and its not so hard job to do them with own hands. Coasts are about 50% from "kits ready to put to bike". I have never had any problems with my own lines... Just last winter i made all lines(also clutch) to my ST2 and works perfectly... ![]() |

a must have!!!!! a huge difference from the rubber originals, dont buy the ones on ebay I think the company is Galfer or something like that. theirs by pass the manifold for the front brake thus the brake light switch, then no front activated brake light. they have 2 lines that go all the way to the master cylinder. I bought mine off of ebay from a salvage yard in california that was parting out a 750, I think I paid $30 for the 3 lines and manifold/brake switch |

Here in NZ we can not use kitset or home made brake lines. They must have the identifying coller with the correct standard number printed on them. This means you need to buy a pre-made set or get the shop to fit them. If not the bike will get failed for its "warrent of fitness". Fraser. |
