I picked up a 750 Paso in decent shape for little money, but as I'm slowly restoring it to it's former glory, I have found several items that are missing. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to locate these parts. Can anyone help out?!

carburator linkage (the shaft/spring/ball cup assembly at the end of the throttle cable)
chrome finishing ring (surrounds the seat lock)
small black cap on left switch pod (next to the flash to pass button)
rear turn signal lenses (mine are the red USA versions, but my lights are wired to flash; looks like the previous owner wired them but never got the amber lenses--either will work)

Thanks!
Rick

I'm guessing that you still have the Weber carb on there. I'll look thru my stuff to see if I have anything that might look like it.

The electrics are not bad and I have never heard of one being swapped out. Read thru the FAQ and you will see some info on upgrading the electrics and fixing it up.

Yes, it's the Weber. Previous owner rigged a contraption that worked somewhat, but not very smoothly. Everything from the cable-end back is missing.
The integrated rear turn signals on my Paso are fine, it's the outer lenses (turn signals) that are cracked, though.
They work just as they should, except the lenses are red instead of amber. I don't know if that's a problem since all motorcycle turn signal lenses seem to be amber. Might be ok since many cars have red turn signal lenses as well...
If I can find good red ones or amber ones, it would be great.

I do have the body stripped off and I started working on the electrics and major tune up items within days of bringing it home. I work at a motorcycle shop and I can't have a Ducati leaving me stranded--the boys would never let me live it down!

The Amber, Euro lens is hard but not impossible to find. Ebay is your only real option.

Thanks for the offer, but my turn signals are integrated into the taillight; I guess trying to install Euro lenses will be an impossibility...

"small black cap on left switch pod (next to the flash to pass button)" that part is also a moto guzzi part number. i believe the same switch gear was used for several years on LeManns. I just picked one up from my parts counter gal for US$1 at Munroe Motors SF, Ducati/Moto Guzzi.

Best, Randy. '87 Paso
