duc907 it`s for sure not the nicest but it is individual and will become exactly as I imagine it :)
I like to have my stuff in best possible condition when I start using it hoping that in future I can keep everything in steady good condition with little effort. I definetely do not belong to the fraction that cleans their vehicles with a toothbrush or washes them every weekend.
I just don´t like things being rusty or oily and prefer working on my vehicles w/o getting dirty hands.

None. The lower was like new and the upper is new.
If I had done that I probably would have had the lower powdercoated like the frame in semi gloss black.
The upper one on my P750 is silver so that would´ve been anodized or spray painted. The one I found looks almost chromed.

I forgot to mention the battery.
The last years I had ridden the Paso with a small GS GT12B-4 sealed battery. It`s used on the SS800 and only has 10Ah but I never had a problem with it. Actually it performed way better than other correct type batteries I had before.
I started to look around for battery types and found that the YB14L-A2 (name may differ by manufacturer) was the correct one with the positive pole on the left front. This battery put out about 14Ah.
The owners manual though mentioned 19Ah which seemed impossible as all batterys that strength are a lot bigger.
That some guys in the 906/907ie forum mentioned they were using Odyssey or Hawkers was even more confusing as those would never fit.
Thanks to Antti I found out that the inner fender of the 906/907ie was different. The battery compartment is wider. As wide as the frame.
I got myself one of these just in case but using it would`ve meant changing some things like the fluid container position of the brakepump etc.
After some more investigation I found the YTX20CH-BS which is used ie on some Guzzis. This is 150 x 87 x 161mm. One side of each rubber bracket that holds the battery needs to be cut off but other than that it fits perfectly in the P750s battery compartment and it´s even slightly lower than the recommended type. This battery has 18Ah and more CCA than the other types mentioned. The only thing about it is that the battery poles are reversed but that`s no problem as I had made a different set of battery cables just for this case.

GT12B-4

P750 w/ YTX20CH-BS

Today my custom sprocket returned and it´s finally how it should be. It fits nicely and the weight was now reduced to 235g (original 215g). It aligns and the tire chain clearance is also fine. I`m happy.

The question I have now is where do the accelerator, rpm meter and choke cable route through ? Do any go through the front frame triangle or all through the side ?
