I heard there were 3 Paso's parked together at the Mid Ohio Vintage cycle days on Saturday. I am curious who they were. I was not one of them. Maybe next year. |

Funny you should ask. I finally had the time and enough bravery of the heat to try it out today. Well the choke didnt feel right and something was not attached to the carb. Took it apart and saw the cable was gone. so fished that through for a while. I droped whatever you call the piece the attached to the cable and the choke and couldnt find it. I stormed off mad and pouring of sweat. I will try tomorrow I promise! |

Dont get mad? Really? If you had any clue about the rest of my day? Do I really need to explain that I tried to mow and all it did was make grass balls and kill the mower? No not that tall and wastn wet when I started. How did that piece drop? gravity? it would fall straight down. Onto the the _ part of the L engine. Oh no not there. had to be thats where it fell and that's where a pool of my dripping sweat keeps falling. It's not on the ground........ it's somewhere!!!!!!!!! Daylight will come and it will be found!!!!!!!!!! Or do you mean dont get mad about the clutch? Thanks for the encouragement on this great day where battery died before the rest of the bike killed me. I'm not mad at the clutch.... yet. |

When I was reading your other post earlier,I was thinking that you shouldn't be having that much trouble taking off and it was the weber flooding, but then I remembered that you swapped out the weber for mikunis ? was it,anyway I didn't bother saying anything at the time but now that you mention the choke cable,I hope that is your problem. The pasos are tall geared like most ducatis, but once you are moving at a walking pace you should be able to fully release the clutch and they pull away very nicely,so it does sound like a carby issue. Beer and lot's of it helps the heat,no good for finding parts though. ![]() ![]() ![]() Jay |
