wow, that`s one clean bike even though it was rebuild. He shouldn`t have quit before also cleaning the carb, regulator and airbox clips. That would have made it perfect for the photos. He should`ve also tied up the electrics a bit and swap that ground cable if that`s one from a house`s lighting. From the colour of the engine cover bolts they could be stainless. If so not such a good idea. Also I have never seen such a header. Beautiful bike though and very nice pictures, thanks Jon. ![]() Some beautiful pics also in his other galleries http://www.philaphoto.com/imageLibrary/index.php?cat=3 G. I wonder if that colourful fuse arrangement was only for the pictures ![]() |

Very nice fotos from 750 Paso, but that higher rear tire is AWFULL looking..... Better will be 17" conversion ![]() G: That header looks just normal (or did i missed something what You saw in it?), but it is polished surely, as it is stainless steel and can be polished very easily.... After few weeks street use it looks AGAIN like "crap" / rusted, awfull, etc.... That polishing is only for fotos, nothing more.... I have done it very many times and allways same result after few weeks of driving. ![]() |

if you sand and polish a header you have to rub it with an oily rag once in a while. This will burn in and discolour it a bit but it will remain in a good condition for a longer time. The normal header is one piece from the front to the back + the tube for the rear cylinder. If you look close you`ll see that this one has a short front header tube so it`s probably made of three parts. Never seen that. |
