O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay! At 24, and with so many things that can go wrong, and with safety in mind, and wearing nice clothes (Lucchese boots, etc.) when I ride, and with its goofy 16inch wheels, I choose to think of my lovely Cici as a big sexy glorified high-speed 750cc scooter anyway. ![]() Don't flame me - I'll get a big late-model duke next time to settle the score. Till then, sounds like I have to make budget for some tyres. |

It would appear that bad cornflakes is correct - scooter tyres. ![]() ![]() Golden tyre manufacture mainly for dirt bikes, also VW's and citroens. ROFL ![]() ![]() ![]() and also they do several style of scooter tyres, and one it would appear fits the pasos. Yes they are advertising the fact that it fits the paso, and many are suggesting it was designed for that purpose, but these guys are scooter tyre manufacturers. Please correct me if I'm wrong ,but I didn't see any other road bike tyres in the line up,just a couple of supermoto tyres. so no experience in the road bike side of things, looks like you guys are the test pilots ! Don't get your knickers in a knot,I'm just having a bit of fun, nothing personal. You will find no criticism of golden tyres in my posts as I have not tried them and therefore cannot comment on them,as is the case for most of the others on this forum. I am only stating the facts of the matter, which it seems many are overlooking in their rush to purchase an as yet unproven tyre. The facts as far as I can tell are that bad cornflakes is correct, the tyres are scooter tyres, that fit the paso and the manufacturer appears to have no prior experience with tyres of this type. If the tyres work well on the paso and stand the test of time that is great especially for those of you that have no other options. If the tyres are total brumbies or wear at an unacceptable rate, that would be unfortunate for any new paso owner that stumbles on this thread and thinks that these tyres are tried and proven. There are a lot of really bad tyres out there that have passed all the stringent tests. So until the tyres are proven I reserve my judgement on them, remember only fools rush in. oh and toot toot Mctool ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You are still missing the point. There are Countries , e.g. ITALY were the Pasos were conceived and manufactured, were you CANNOT usa a vehicle unless it complies 100% with the omologation fiche recorded at the DVLA in other words, the GT tires are a BLESSING for all PASO 750and 906 users and in particular for those living in Italy. NOW.... how can you know how good they are if first you do not try them?? Is waiting for "second hand" experiences good enough? |
