Goldentyre Purchase in USA

I sent a message to the Goldentyre office in the USA, regarding the availability of the tires, and received this message:

"Dear John,

Thank you very much for your message.

We have been receiving few emails in regards to those tires and it is our desire to have them available in the US sooner than later.

We just opened our operations in the US a couple of months ago and we are focusing on establishing the distribution network at this time.

The best way to speed things up and have those particular type of tires in the US is to compile a pre-order of a pallet so they can be delivered in a fair amount of time.

If you know enough people that would like to get together and make a pre-order (10 sets is 1 pallet) then we can have the tires on US territory in 1 week time from when the pre-order takes place.

Our hope is, when the interest picks up, to be able to stock these tires.

Feel free to connect with us at any time if you have any other question or to proceed with the order of 1 pallet.

We should have the tire's price in USD very soon as well.

I will contact Goldentyre to find out if they will receive the pallet of 10 sets and distribute individual sets, or if they will only send the entire pallet to one address.

If they will only ship to one address, I am willing to buy the ten sets, and ship them to anyone else who is interested, for the cost of the tires plus shippng cost. As I am located in Connecticuit, it would be cheaper to find people in the eastern US who may be interested in participating in the purchase of a pallet.

Anyone interested?

Depending on the price for a set, I may be interested.

My bike is currently for sale, but if it doesn't go, I'll definitely need them.

I am currently waiting for a response from Goldentyre on the cost of a pallet delivery. Once I have that price, I can get shipping cost to other states.

Please be patient, I will post the costs when I have them. I guess we've waited this long for correct tires, what's another week or two!

I am in the California bay area and I know there are at least 2 or more members here as well and I am up for a set. Possibly combining 2 or more sets may reduce the overall shipping costs?

If the pricing is in line with the major brands (Michelin, Dunlop, Pirelli) sportbike tires I will take a pair. I am also in CT. Keep me posted. -C

Also you are doing better than I am. I sent an email to GoldenTyreUS over a week ago and recieved no reply.

I would like to buy at least one set from you and two if you need me to do that. I am in Needham, MA and could drive down and pick up the tires for me and anyone else that lives up this way.

Good news! Goldentyre has responded that they will ship the individual tire sets to each person's address, once the pallet has been received in the U.S. Each pallet will contain 12 tires, so if the pricing is acceptable to everyone (once I get it) I will order two pallets, since there are at least 12 people interested.

The Goldentyre rep, Stefy Bau, said that they should have US pricing by the end of the week, I will post it when I get it.

Here is the reply that I got from Goldentyre:

Hello John,

I apologize for the late reply. The entire staff was in California supporting the Goldentyre riders at the XGames and we just returned to the office.

We should be able to ship the tires to each individual address. The pallet will arrive at the Goldentyre office then we will ship individually.

I should have the exact cost in USD very soon then we can proceed with the order. I was informed that on 1 pallet they are able to fit 12 tires.
