All Ducati sidestands will fit, as the bolt pattern to the engine has remain unchanged for about 30 years it seems. There are several different versions, so you need to match the side stand with the mount plate. Seems you have parts from two different versions in your hand. I can't say directly which one will clear the Paso frame, as the Paso and Elephant are the only Ducati models with a frame rail in that area. Some bikes had the dreaded automatic retracting side stand, and there were lots of different modifications to overcome that bit of legislated engineering. Later ones had a switch, and you can use that to rig up an LED on your dash, or to keep your bike from starting while in gear. (as seen in the first photo) Most side stands are too short. I solved this by putting a roller-skate toe stop onto the bottom of my stand. If you search for side stands, or kickstands, you will find plenty of posts, and pictures. Cheers, |

![]() I have my switch wired to a relay to cut out the starter while the side stand is out. |
