Click on 'Downloads' in the Registered User Menu on the left of the screen - on Page 2 of the 'Technical Documents' section, there's a download of Haynes information about Mikunis. You may find what you want there. I didn't look, (I have DelOrtos) but you never know ... |

there`s no such info in those manuals. You`ll have to give your dealer a call or search the web if you find a parts catalogue of a SS, Monster or Cagiva Elefant. Gerhard |

Donna, go here: http://www.ducati.com/bikes/catalogs.jhtml then click on Model Year 2000 and download the parts catalogue of the M750.There you`ll find it on page 42/43. Gerhard |

ok, i think i would spend more on jets and needles gettings than a new carb if i got a out of spec from Ebay. |

After a lot of searching I've found out that a '97 M750, an '89 Yamaha 1000 FZR, and a lot of the mid to late '80s GSXR's run this carb. I don't know about the jet sizes tho. ronayers.com has the microfiche for the carbs, but a lot of the parts are NLA. Powersportspro.com has most of the parts still avaliable from Yamaha tho. DG |

It was very difficut for me to find adeguate jetting for these carbs, because Mikuni sell them only as OEM and there are not aftermarket spare parts by Mikuni. I found that original M900 main jets (size 140) are too small (probably to reduce emissions) and with my open air-filters the carburation was too lean. It was hard, but finally I found a pair of 148 and a pair of 165 (too big). There's the DynoJet jet kit, but it is more expensive and have different jetting numbers. LC |
