Post subject: | Paso 750 exhaust headers |
Hi, I have been recommended to the forum to try and sort out my Paso 750. I'm looking for the larger bore exhaust headers. Mine are part 037084020 /030 and have 35mm primaries and 40mm after the collector/splitting section. Does anyone know the correct part number for the ones I want, or have any aftermarket ones available for sale? Thanks |

Thanks, maybe they ran out of smaller pipe half way through the production run! Have found a new old stock collector that are said to be the larger bore, just need to find the rear pipe to suit. Would prefer aftermarket seperate pipes ideally but think I'm unlikely to be able to. |

It depends on what you're aiming for. On top of my head smaller diameter headers will have the max torque at lower rpm. Suppose your max torque is now present at 6000 rpm. Reducing it with 6mm the torque could be at approx 5000 rpm. In your case is the other way around. Increasing the tube diameter will have a torque in higher revs. I'm having the smaller headers on my paso for the obvious reason.. Torque at lower revs! Btw I'm using the stock valve diameters and exhaust ports at the moment. Léon |
