After a 7 year stint in the basement, I thought it was time to ride my Paso again, so after fluid changes ,body work installed, and a new battery, she started right up and ran just as good as ever. Clutch bleeding was , of course, a pain but we got thru it. Tires have been covered and look to be road worthy. We are good to go, and go we will. First stop is the dreaded DMV but that should not be a problem, I say should not, but it seems that every time I make an appearance there is an issue. Maybe this time will be different. :)

Sweet! Another Limited on the road. Looks REALLY familiar! Do you have the track exhausts? What's the mileage?

Paso750, You got me thinking about those tires, I think I put 100 miles on them. I looked at the date code yesterday and to my surprise they were made in 2001!!! 14 years, wow!! Bike Bandit has another customer.

The Shinko tires arrived yesterday. Props to Bike Bandit for the two day turnaround!. Now to get them mounted. Always concerned about getting my wheels dinged. The first time I had a set of tires mounted I used two rolls of masking tape to protect the wheels, a little over the top I guess. Always wanted to do it myself and purchase a No-Mar machine and with multiple bikes it would have come in handy, but I never got past the looking stage.

Tires mounted so that's out of the way, Belts arrived, not happy with the letters, PPRC on them so I'm going to convert to the later belts with the radius cogs rather than the flat bottomed ones. Always a fresh supply of OEM belts available
.

Pasoforme,

I've got a little over 14K miles on mine. I'm third owner but have had it since 1994. Yes Corbin seat and track exhausts. Plus has Dellorto conversion. I just put Shinko's on and so far they feel great. I'm actually riding the heck out of it now because now I know the rubber is safe! Keep us posted on your progress.

After new cam belts, upgraded to the round cog configuration, which included new pulleys, new tires, new battery, and new license plates, we are ready to ride at last.
It's a beautiful day in in Connecticut, one of those days that makes you feel good to be alive and riding a Ducati.
First we need to scrub in those new tires. Nice to have new rubber with a date code that's not 14 years old !!
