Post subject:  Paso 750 fuel line run

Hi Folks. I stripped out the fuel lines on my Paso 750, and started replacing the fuel lines with new pipe. Only to find the fuel filter connections cracked. Took me a couple of weeks to getting the replacement by which time I had forgotten how they went together (yes I know I should have taken pictures). Anyone got a few pictures of the pipe connection arrangements and the location of the filter in place? Sorry for asking for daft information. I usually work better than this. any help appreciated. Cheers :banghead:

Posting in the classifieds section won't help ;) so I moved your question.
The fuel line arrangement is simple.
From fuel petcock to filter to pump to Y piece. From there to the Weber and from the second connection back to the tank (rear connection)

Hi Paso750. Many thanks for the info. My fuel line also has a T piece in it. Also, I would like to know if the fuel filter runs on the inside of the fram or the outside? Please see attached pictures. One of a complete line set from a Paso I just stripped, the other showing the new lines I made up with the T piece. Any advice appreciated.

PS thanks for moving the question.

I seem to be struggling to add the pictures.

The reason you can't upload pictures may be that they are too big.
Here two pictures taken from old magazine articles.

Hi 750 Paso. That is great. I can now see which location the filter runs. Any idea on the T?

The position of the T makes no sense to me.
There are 2 possible fuel line setups. The first one below is the one you have in your first picture. That is if your tank has a fuel return connection.

The second is if the tank has no fuel return connection. Then the fuel is sent into a loop instead to reduce pressure.
Note that in the Y-piece there's a Dell Orto jet as reduction piece. As in the pictures that should be in the exit to the tank/loop. Btw the fuel petcock shows forward not to the right side as shown in the drawings.

That is really appreciated. Many thanks for solving this problem. My bike is a very early one, so the return pipe is probably the issue. Cheers 750Paso
