Hi everyone! i'm Marco from Italy.... i'm Ducati rider since 15 years...
I ride a Multistrada 1200 Enduro '16 everyday, a 999 for track days and now i have bought a 750 Paso!
I hope to find new friend and info about the Ducati Paso 750.... unfortunally in Italy the Ducati Paso isn't so popular and find info and parts it's very difficult!!

For not being a popular bike in Italy the prices I sometimes see on subito.it make me wonder. There are a few Pasos at normal prices but occasionally there would be one for ridiculous 5-7.000.
There are a few italian guys on the forum. They are probably out enjoying summer instead of checking the forum
Probably all info you will ever need will be here on the forum somewhere and if you need a certain part let us know. You can still get most of them although for a few you need patience and a little bit of luck.

Thanks guys ... I bought a white Paso 750 limited, found in Florence and owned by the son of a gentleman who died of illness.
The bike had been completely stopped since 2005.
I proceeded to have her do a complete mechanical revision; aesthetically the bike is preserved, obviously with some signs due to age (it is from 1990).
Replace the tires, some electrical components and overhauled the braking system .... but there are other jobs to be done.
The biggest problem I had concerns the fuel pump, replaced by a vacuum fuel pump taken from a Ducati Monster 750.
However the bike is a gem ....! and I love it !!

Hi! I'm Daniele from Venice, Italy. I have a red 750 Paso since 2016. It's a preserved model, needs constant and careful maintenance but I try to keep it in the most original conditions possible.

I've changed also the battery, with a new YUASA YB14L-A2 and i buy new gear shift from CNC RACING:

Wow, it looks really good (well preserved), how much has it run (km)?
First Paso I have ever ridden was in 1987 on a white one of a friend of mine, just like yours (although I thought that one had grey wheels, but not sure after 33 years).
Question, the white is that a pearl white or a solid white?
Nice it has the original exhaust, the look fits the Paso very well.
Show us some pics of the dashboard once it's cleaned and back in order>

Hi ,if you keep an eye on ebay there are parts there sometimes . I bought all the stuff I would need after a minor get off , like handle bars foot pegs etc, and a few other bits that are particular to the paso.

I've seen that someone in the states has a massive amount of NOS Ducati/Cagiva parts.
To bad it is quit expensive to get those send to Europe (P&P plus customs).
But fortunately the old parts are relatively easy to restore as new (except anodising them again that is).

Incidentally: I was able to get 2 original new mufflers (NOS), 1 of which (left side) is made of stainless steel (by means of a simple magnet test) and the other (right side) is not.
They also look identical to each other.
Don't understand why that is, Gerhard, maybe you know how and what?

Yes , the states seem to charge heaps for freight, and it varies wildly from seller to seller too , often it prices the item out of reach and I gotta watch too coz it keeps changing from nz$ to us$ and then I get a horrible surprise on my credit card statement .....but Italy is worse.....I bought a rifle skope mount (Beretta Olympia , if you care ) ,fits in a cigarette packet and that was €100 for postage , but I got a whole Alpine car stereo inc cd stacker from Germany for the same price as from anywhere in nz....go figure. I buy hand tools from the uk as its often cheaper inc post than buying them here.
I have previously posted a pic of my fuse board with a bit of blithering about my electric upgrade .
Luckily most wearable paso parts are common to other dukes ( motor and chains sprockets, switches and brake &clutch pumps ) its just the body parts . Fairings can be repaired but bars and footpegs ect are unique....hence some of the "improvisation" pix posted on this site. :-)
