Hi

I am using my Paso on the track and would like to fit lighter and less restrictive silencers. I am looking at generic aluminum cans. Has anyone experimented with this?
To reduce cost I want to keep the down pipes, is there a link pipe people have used?

I had the bike out at a classic parade day last weekend and had a great time!

Thanks

Alistair

Alistair,

there are some Laser silencers on ebay UK:

and some BOS on german ebay (these are race/not roadlegal ones which in some countries is irrelevant)

:D ha ha , I was just thinkin ,lightweight free flowin pipes are a surefire way of reducing lap time (the last thing you wanna do at a strip show ) but the fact your racing a Paso in the 1st place suggests your not interested in winning  . Did you keep the mirrors on
? They'd be dead handy for spotting the rest of the pack comming up to lap you.....again :P
Seriously tho , I guy I know who races air cooled belt drives reckons the best start to get a bit more Ned is to fit larger headers, so I dunno if the 904cc headers are bigger than the 750. Have a look at a few pix of racebikes and see if you can't spot a nice looking 2 into1 to copy. They ain't that hard to make if you can work a hacksaw and a welder. And don't be in to much of a hurry to ditch the weber, it might be a bit cranky at low throttle openings/speed but there ain't nothing wrong with mid/ top end performance. :)

Hi
There is a post classic production class the Paso fits in to, a talented rider has won races on a Paso.
I will be bobbing about the back smiling from ear to ear.

Yeah , it was named after Renzo Pasolini , an Italian bike racer of some note....who never raced for Ducati

Larger headers are available from Europe. The diameter is bigger on models sold there.
