Hey there paso freaks, Im new to the site and must say this is great, had I known that such a resource existed, I would probably saved and unfathomable amount of time and $, not to mention all the swearing and punching of inanimate objects. Anyway, The last few times I had the Paso out the oil temp guage hasent come up even after reaching norm. operating temp. I've covered all the bases i.e. connections, corrosion, etc with no luck, any suggestions, thanks, Chris 88 750 PASO 78 CB 750 CAFE I know- Iknow....the lady friend usually rides it |

There are 2 connections on for the center post and 1 for the ground. It need to be grounded properly for it to work because it's mounted in rubber. Mine stopped working so I replaced it. I think it was 4-5 bucks at the local auto zone. I will add that the oil stays quite cold in the winter time. The needle never moves until May here in NY. |

Thanks for the insight! Turns out it wasn't grounded properly, I was able to get a decent ride in today and the guage is back in buisness! Now if we could just get the street sweepers out to clean up the gravel coated back roads of Colorado! |
