I posted the request for a 1/2 bushing after being sold one that didn't fit at the local Ducati shop. A list member sent me one that was the same as the one from the shop. This bike has Ferracci exhausts on it, appears to be stock with only 8000 miles on it. Any thoughts on this??? My 1/2 bushings are thinner than the ones I've been able to find and also are a slightly larger diameter. The Ducati part number for the one that doesn't fit is 061984015. I'm stumped. Thanks, Paul

I guess the header is original so can`t you just replace all 4 pieces ? It`s not clear to me why the original bushings won`t work. Any pictures or measurements ?

The header pipes for the 900 are bigger diameter, and will fit onto the 750. Even some of the later 620 and 750 models had larger diameter header pipes. You bike could have easily been modified before you got it. Try a collar from a 900 and see if that fits.
Cheers,

Paul, Are you installing them backwards? the rolled part is captured by the flange and faces away from the port. Just a thought...........higgy

I had one of those Ferracci exhausts. I found that the system has special 1/2 rings that were bigger than 750 or 900. I only found this as I sold it to a guy and he called me later for the 1/2 rings because his originals didn't fit. I went through my box and found the original four.
I do happen to have one extra I picked up along the way.
