Hi Guys good to have the site up and running again - thanks has anyone tried these on a sport or paso and they work? Currently from Cycleworks and listed as working on 91-99 750 & 900ss. Or any of the Dyna Green or Black coils at Bevelheaven? My original coils I suspect (23years old) are tired and the plug caps very tired - front cylinder lead fell off during a classic race this weekend as i was trying to close in a XS1100!! So I'm looking to replace the whole set up - coils and leads - any sugestions? |

If you have the Digiplex ignition, then it has 4 ohm coils. The rest of the common world uses 3 and 5 ohm coils. Dyna recommends the 3 ohm, as that's the kit for the SS bikes. (Green coils) I have them on my Sport. If you feel nervous about the mismatch, get some big honking 1 ohm resistors, and put them in line, which is what I did 5 years ago now. Works fine. Coils are replacealbe items anyway, and 20 + years is enough for a motorcycle coil. Cheers, |

I just put a set of the green dyna coils on my 750 paso, and plug wires too courtesey of bevelheaven. Runs great! |

with the dynacoils either the 3 or 5 ohm will work. Make sure you get the single output coils. DC3-1 or DC10-1 DC3-1 is the 3 ohm coil,you will need two of these and a bracket to mount them DC10-1 is the 5 ohm,you will need two of these and a bracket to mount them Bevel Heaven sells a nice bracket kit that works very well or you can make your own with any coil replacement polarity is very important to the operation of the coil and the life of your module |
