Hi Simon, I had the same problem some time ago and it had to be ordered. But it was still available. You will find the part number in the 750 s parts manual is the same as for the 906 (=066516703) and will fit the your 900 ss. Most dealer do not have micro fische or books for this bike so when i order i always bring my own. How ever i did not find any 89-90 900 ss book what so ever. Did you? Cheers Joep |

Yes, your 900 motor is very rare. Basically same as 906 paso, but without water cooling. Not many made. (makes you wonder how much it cost to make such a small number) Is this plate common to all Paso, Pantahs, Sports, and F-1 motors? Is it possibly also common to 91-9? 750 SS and monsters that had the clutch slave in the cover (and the 5 speed transmission) They were a wet clutch, but were activated in the cover the same way. Cheers, |

So a plate from either paso, 750 sports, pantah and F1 would fit ?? |

I would think so, since they all activate from the cover, but I don't have enough experience with the other models to say for sure. like this model. http://www.bikeexif.com/ducati-750ss-custom cheers, |

The local duke guy here sez the go is to remove the central rod completely, now I would have thought that this piece was there to allign the pressure plate concentricaly, and while my pressure plate is still standard ( and yes , I did have to weld it up ),I'll probly try this if mine gives any more grief , |
