what engine number is that ? Maybe you`re lucky.
According to the parts catalogue from engine number 751161 on the piston #12220041a was used which is the same on many later 750 Ducs. See: http://www.ebay.com/itm/DUCATI-750-SPOR ... 0620418618

If it`s the older #036947403 you`re looking for it`s a lot more difficult to find one.

thanks guys. that 750 piston doesnt fit according to the guy. what a pity, I would have bought it.

anyway Ed Milich gave me a hand and sent me a piston I can use. a good price and good condition, I can only say he has done well buy me now and in the past.

cheers
