Hey. I'm looking for double headlight ala endurance style. Does anyone have an idea about a type of light that is approved for street use in Europe? Photo shows the type I want. http://www.google.no/imgres?imgurl=http ... =0&ndsp=15 |

Some guys don't like Dolly Parton either, but some do. If you do it, use modern lighting, such as HID or LED. A set of halos would be nice. Steal them off a BMW car, or Audi. Cheers, Phil |

technically you want vintage carellos to be correct. the problems with them are: they aren't cheap; they aren't very good; you'll have to fab a mounting solution yourself since nobody seems to make such a thing; and they may not be legal in your jurisdiction. i couldn't find anything that was the right size (six inches or less) and was legal, and i looked for a while. i ended up using exactly what you see on the f1 above: hella 500 halogen driving lights. technically illegal, but the police in colorado don't really care about little things like this. baja designs makes a really neat kit, but it's pretty expensive, and it's REALLY illegal (http://www.bajadesigns.com/ProductDetai ... ber=610012 - offroad only) and it's kinda big for our application anyway. but like i say, good luck finding something that looks right AND is legal. if you do, let me know. ian.
