Hi All, I'm thinking of putting some different Cans on my 1989 Sport but will need link pipes. Anyway got any advise on anything that will fit? Are they the same size as SS and Monster pipes? Thanks

No direct information on what will fit, but I think most of the stuff from an SS or Monster should fit. The hangar at the pillion pegs is a bit off though. Later models had bigger header pipes, and those are usually cheap on e-bay. 900 stuff will fit the 750 motor, but you may need to slide the header pipes into collector a bit more.
I have a set of BUB exhaust for the 750 Sport that are up for sale. They are a bit rough, but functional. $100 I also have a set of stainless Supertrapp silencers that came on my 750 Sport. they came with some adapters. The hangers are adjustable, so they work fine. Reasonable shape. Nice big bass sound. $150
Cheers, Phil
