Hi All, You may remember me asking if anyone knew if anyone made a carbon fiber rear hugger for a 750 Sport. Well after no luck it was suggested I tried wrapping it with the 3m Carbon look alike wrap. Although the actual wrap looked very realistic it failed to drape well around the curves so I gave up on that one. It was then suggested that I got it carbon dipped via Hydrographics. This has come out very well and has turned the pretty ugly large dull standard hugger into something a little more appealing...at least to me anyway! So I thought I would attach a couple of pictures of it for any of you who may be interested. I also may now have found a source for a real carbon one so I will advise details on here if that proves successful. Cheers

Wow, that is amazing. Not only that they would do a one off, but also that they got that to stick to polypropylene. |

Hi, At my Sport there is a real-carbon rear hugger, but I have no clout where it comes from. Cheers, Marcel |

I also now have a real carbon Hugger. They are made by Diopa in Germany. basically it's a shorter version on the standard one above using the same locating holes as the 87-90 version sport. They list quite a few other things but this is the only one they do in Carbon. They are not quick at replying and struggle a bit with English! But quality was good, you have to drill the holes yourself but they are marked from the moulding process. Here's the link:- http://www.diopa.com/shop/shop.html |

More Pics, with the original (now Hydro carbon coated) hugger next to it. The real carbon one doesn't cover the chain like the original.
