I may be able to help , I had a 97SS but I have recently sold the wheels but I think I may still have the speedo drive and seal but I will have to have a rummage tomorrow , will advise ASAP .

after a bit of a search cannot find (everything on eBay wrong size as in too big) I will go to local supplier as cannot find the one I took out of the wheel for tidy up... if some kind person knows would be great |

Yeah that was part of a problem , I had the drive etc off the 97SS but the wheel ( might have been off a 907 or 851 .... had 320mm disc's ) had a different speedo drive set up , my friend is building a Harley race bike ( yeah , I know , but he likes it  ) so I sold him the 17's , disc's and calipers .Sorry Dude , I cant find those bits , which is weird , you'd think that for a Harley race bike a calendar would be more use that a speedo ..... specially one with an odometer....... well they aint that reliable , a tape measure is probly all you'd need to measure distance travelled between breakdowns

I just looked at my spare 907 front wheel with the stock green seal on it. 40 x 52 x 5 Single lip. Should be able to measure all the mating parts to get the same dimensions to confirm. I replaced the one on the other front wheel by simply ordering the same size from a seal company. Cheap enough. I think I spent more on shipping than the part. Cheers, Phil |
