Anyone know where to buy new good quality oil cooler lines for 89 900 ss, mine are woven stainless bulky old things that wear holes in the fairing and all , any ideas appreciated |

I think most fo what you will find is braided in ST-ST unless you go for something custoime made that will cost a fortune. The originals (recent models) have a sleeve where they rub , you could get a decent set from BF Goorich and ask them if it is possible to have them made with a sleeve on , alternatively, you could some 3-1 heat-shrink sleeve from Farnell or Mouser or Digikey or RS-Components and fix the rubbing issue |

In the UK there are plenty of places that will make a hose to your specifications at usually around £30 a hose for stainless fittings. Fitting heatshrink to already made up lines can be difficult because tubing that is big enough to get over the banjo probably won't shrink enough to fit the lines properly. Or you could simply wrap some spiral wrap around them to protect the plastics etc. |

Are the hoses rubbing on the fairing or vice versa? I'm just wondering. For something to rub it has to move and the oil hoses are fixated to the frame and not connected to anything that moves. ![]() You can also make your own hoses using Aeroquip parts. The issue (and I guess Venhill would have the same) is the hollow bottom connector that houses the pressure sensor. Btw if there's a shop around for hydraulic equipment ask there. They may also be able to make something. |

Hel brake lines can supply lines with straight M10 x 1.00mm adaptors at either or both ends. I'm sure you could get these from Goodridge too. |

Derek are you talking about brake lines or oil cooler hoses? |

Thanks for your input all and I will check out all your ideas and let you know what I end up doing, I have a large ware mark on one of the fairings which I presume was from the large diameter stainless braided lines, I will do some more investigation, thanks again |
