Can anyone enlighten me on the tightening process of the new clutch springs in my 89 900 supersport, do the bolts get screwed down to the posts on the pressure plate? Do these get threadlock? Any help appreciated cheers

I assume that it is the same as all the other Ducati dry clutches. The posts are easily broken off. Just nip the bolts down until they are snug and don't use threadlock, the springs will prevent them from loosening.

Thanks Derek, a lots gone into bringing this clutch back to life I don't want to get it wrong at this stage, compressing the springs so much just seemed unnatural, you've put my mind at ease, have a good one

The screws get tightened all the way down, but do so gradually in a hex pattern, tightening a few millimeters at a time. The screws are 8 nm, if you need a torque figure.
