Sadly, it is still going to be some time before the bike is roadworthy again. Officially "off the road" since 2003, it has a few "issues". Like taking 90 minutes to remove the rear axle, and the rear wheel bearings are shot. Looks like they may have to come from the USA.

Ah well, looks like "better and longer" rather than "cheaper and faster".

I'll probably have to do your sprocket mod for the rear then, but that won't prove a problem for my engineer, I'm sure.

Rear bearings acquired. Headset/steering bearings shot. Both front brake discs shot. Fork seals shot. Tyres on and wheels on. Clears chain enough to ride to engineer's.

there is a list in the paso 750 section on parts exchange with other bikes. I think discs will be easy. try ebay, certainly quite a few for 907s.
All the bearings are readily available, get a taper roller bearing headset replacement. I just took my old ones to the bearing shop and asked for high quality japanese, regardless of brand.
Paitence is good for ebay, I just picked up a set of pistons, cylinders, rings, pins etc OEM Ducati for the price of rings at Ducati Melbourne or pistons and rings from the states.

I got a pair of good front discs (used) form Ed @ guzzitech.com back in November for $120 NZ including shipping.
Passed a W.O.F no problems, maybe worth a try

Any interest in selling the metal mounting brackets left and right side of the seat for the suitcases? I am looking for a set to go on my 907 ie however they are hard to find.
