re my previous posts, thanks for all help and advice.....Have fixed my clutch, fixed/fitted new RR51 reg/rect, sorted rear damper/shock, and this weekends problem is .........rev counter not working, can this be connected with rewiring for RR51 unit, as instructions mention by-passing the existing wiring, have I missed something ????

Rev counter is ONLY mechanical, so Your problem is not electrical at all. Did You dissconnect anything rev counter stuff, when You have worked with Your bike??? Firstly You should check those again... Routing its cable is quite critical: No tight bents at all !!!! When that problem came??? When You were driving, or meanwhile maintain jobs??? think, think, think.....

Inner cable has broken, found an Ducati 888 one on ebay, have taken a chance and bought it, hope it fits!!!

Be carefull with routing it !!!!!
