Well let us know what you are after and then we can help sadly there is not a specific location it's a case of who knows who and where you are. If you get no where withany questions then try the search button as there will be a thread somewhere that might help. As I said ask the question - if we can help we will. |

There really isn't any. If you don't like/trust your local dealer, call Miles at BCM in NH and he will help you. Tell him I told you to call. You can trust him and he will ship you the parts. |

I just purchased a 1989 906 that had been sitting in storage for years. I got it running and it has a compression reading (with 8 compression strokes) of 110psi on the lower and 130 on the vertical. Tremendous crankcase pressure, although no oil leaks and no smoke out of the tail pipes. Before I start tearing things apart I wanted a source for things like piston rings, engine gasket set, cam belts. Main and rod bearings, heaven forbid pistons etc. If it turned out to be a good bike I would probably use it to commute 90 miles a day. Glenn |

Maybe other guys can confirm, but some gaskets and engine parts are the same as 907's which show on main dealer parts lists and other newer Ducatis,,,,,You need to source parts from various sources...use this forum to help you as it helped me...My Ducati was recommissoned after 6 years unused, took me several months to get it running niclely...I stripped the weber carb and used a parts kit from weber, balanced the airflow....always replace the 2 trumpets on the filter box, its runs badly without them...changed the starter with a 748 one, same part number replaced the water temp fan switch with a Fiat part, clutch seals from an ebay source. Replaced the rectifier as was not charging, brake pads are aftermarket....I would first try to get the bike running on the road before deciding to strip the engine.... ![]() |

How 'bout a parts bike for $300? This has been on Craigslist (New Hampshire) for some time, since Sept 27. I have no interest of any kind in the sale, just something I saw when browsing, and someone else recently cross-posted it to nedoc.org. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://nh.craigslist.org/mcy/857125284.html 1990?
