...Thank you to all that answered the "Possible new owner" entry. Your advise is well taken, and I should say, the best I had in any inquiry. There's only one 906 in France and no 907s. What's the problem with the 16 incher? Handling or availability of tires? Feel free to contact me directly @: jpicabea@gmail.com here's a list of the bikes I've owned, (that I remember) Televell SACHS 125, Royal Enfield 500 1938, Zanella 125 "Sapucai", Gilera 150 1967, DKW 125, Norton ES2 (Two), Commando 850 X2, Honda Interceptor 500, CB750 81', 600 Shadow, CB400, 250 Elsinore, Velocette 350, Virago 700, 750, and 1100, Suzuki GS850, GS100, Titan 500, Kawasaki Vulcan 1500, Harley Davidson Sporster 883 X3, Special made Chopper with 1340 engine, Buell Cyclone, Moto-Guzzi 850 LeMans and 1100 Sport, Yamaha 750 Chopper, Favourite? The problem is that the 16" tires for the Pasos 750/906 (130/60 front and 160/60 rear) are no longer built. The only one producer was Michelin and the last year of the production of those tires was 2004. So, someone try fitting some different 16" tires, 130/70 front, fitted on first Hondas CBR 900 RR and Hornet and 150/80 or 180/60 on the rear side. Someone fit 17" rims. Ciao |

150/80 is no reasonable option. That size is simply not made for that rim width |

did I get that right: 130/70 ZR 16 are possible (modifications are necessary regarding the friont fender) and the rear wheel 160/70 ZR 16 (are such wheels avaiable on the market?) or 180//60 ZR 16 are these tires available from the same company and profile? Thanks su much for the infos and sorry for the confusion, Hardo |
