You shouldn't need to count the teeth, the ducati part No. is 737.4002.1A, however I wil count them for you....70 and the teeth profile is round |

5mm and 6mm allen wrenches for measuring right tightness! 5mm should go "easily" between smaler roller and belt, but 6mm should be "tighter"... btw, little after yeasterday eve, but now my ST2 have also new front steel braided lines(red surely)... I make all those from saparate components... Still som air in front system, but have to leave master to right position overninght, cause seems, that again air stays in upper banjo bolt.... like allways! I feed currently allways new liquid from down to up.... Better that way... Ok, now have to put Sauna on and take some 1h walking trip to clear head little (after yestaerday ) .....

After doing a little research it seems the gates belt has changed numbers at least here in the US. I am currently waiting on a response from Gates on the new upgraded belt number and I will forward it along asap. The response Thanks for your inquiry however that belt is not something we offer here in the states, unfortunately it's probably back to Ducati. Seems it is a German made belt,Perhaps one of you from Germany can verify the new number? |
