I did an oil change yesterday and since I'm 3 1/2 hours from the nearest Ducati shop I went for an alternative oil filter.I used the parts interchange as a guide with no success, but what I did find was that this filter from Ryco was almost identical to the original. http://www.rycofilters.com.au/catalogue ... t/part/z93 |

beware of not OEM filters! Some of them have (or need) a "non retourn" valve inside and this might cause serious pressure troubles to your engine! |

Actually I don't remember... Otherwise I'm SURE that old "alfa romeo Alfetta" has a huge filter w/o valve and "Alfasud / alfa33 /alfa 145" has it. |

Unfortunately, I doubt the spares (so, the filters) for FIAT, Alfa Romeo, Citroen and Talbot were easily available in Australia... Ciao |

I have a buch of the K&N which is a very nice filter. The club buys them at about $8.10 each. Just ordered 45 of them! Do you need one? I can mail it to you. |
