Hi all, First a thanks to everyone for the help this board has already given me in deciding to buy a Paso. There really is a wealth of information here. My question comes from the fact I have a bunch of leftover 600SS spares from another rebuild/project bike that I'd like to use on the 906 - especially the Mikuni carbs and 17inch wheels ![]() But........when fitting the Mikuni carbs from a supersport, how should the intake mainfold vacuum input to the digiplex be dealt with? If removing the Paso airbox and using pod filters can the vacuum take-off points on one of the supersport intake manifolds be used? (i.e. the holes normally blocked by a screw or used for carb sync) Or Should you try and retain the paso airbox connected to the mikuni's? Is that possible? Or maybe I have got it wrong and there is no problem?? Cheers, Mick |

It is better with pictures I think. What to do with the line from the digiplex (red arrow on Paso parts diagram) when installing Mikuni carbs? I think it is OK to plug the hoses on the paso parts diagram (blue arrows) to the manifold holes on the 900SS parts diagram (also blue arrow). Or am I making this all up in my head? Is is really required? Has anyone needed to do this? cheers, Mick |

Just connect it to the manifold as you have it circled. You might want to run it to both manifolds so you get a smoothed out vacuum. |

Thanks mate - good point on linking to both manifolds. Will use the existing plumbing on the Paso to try and match the minimum inner bore / restriction for the sensor. Cheers, Mick |
