Everyone can relax, I found the problem. Previous owner had a cigarette lighter rigged up for a radar detector and it a fall into fan shroud. Fan was then hitting it. She still runs hot so I am going to look into getting radiator re-done. I dont know what the shop can do but will research.

is it not possible to wire in an manual over ride switch to operate in heavy traffic ,i m sure someone on the site could sort out the wiring for you ,its just that i run a gpz 900 and they run hot and a manual switch is a common addition ! cheers :)
