Hi All I'm at the stage of my rebuild where I'm ready to fit the barrels & heads.Is it necessary to measure the squish and if so,what should it be for a standard 906 motor.I have searched the forum & manuals but there is little information on the subject. |

1,0 mm is usually recommended as optimal & safe w standard conrods. |

Thanks Gert. So far I've measured the vertical cylinder using some soft solder and it has 1.36mm clearance. This is the first time I've dealt with this issue.Is 0.36 mm worth worrying about? |

It wont run bad w 1,36mm squish, most Ducs have that from factory. Just if you want to blueprint measures, around 1,0mm is close to optimum. A good idea is to have same figures on both cyls. |
