Woke my sticky Oil Pressure Switch up by poking a small screwdriver up it’s orifice to ensure the spring was OK and then belted the little sod on each facet of the hexagon. Working OK at the moment…. ![]() |

Yeah well be careful , mine started sticking just before it started leaking ( pissing out ) . Ive had 2 of these chunder on me , they start leaking oil up past the terminal, and dont buy a ducati one unless you have money to waist an Audi or VW will fit ( I can find the parts no's if you want ) . Audi was nz$17 ...... ducati nz$80 something ![]() |

Thanks Mc tool - I'll keep an eye on it - That's when I get the bike back from the MOT station....the Old Bugger died with lots of backfires about a mile from destination..pushed it the rest of the way - heavy aren't they ? Perhaps I should get an NSU Quickly at my age..... ![]() |

Part numbers are always useful... as I’m chasing one these myself. Pretty much any search for Ducati oil pressure switch is bringing back the M10 thread spec when the Paso’s are an M14 thread. Anyone got a model I can use to narrow the search? |

Thanks for the prompt reply, I think to make things easier in future the thread adapter is the way to go. Found an adapter here's another closer to the part in the diagram Also, while I'm waiting for the adapter to future-proof my engine, I found the Renault 25 uses compatible switch. |
