Hi
I managed to get hold of a new tail light lense but the top & bottom edges have bowed in.
I thought about getting a heat gun onto it but I don't want to ruin it either. I Would really appreciate some assistance before I go and do something insanely stupid? :dunno:

Hot water bath Ken. Not boiling just warm enough to straighten it. Tap water should be plenty warm enough(50 to 54C). You can use a piece of wood to hold it in position till it cools

Heat guns and open flame take practice, too hot and the plastic will bubble due to the resin outgassing, take my word for it it is a very fine line between repair and disaster

My new one is the same and I just put it on whilst holding the edges straight ( made little handles out of duct tape :) )

Heat gun may help. I've use one in the past when I needed to put plastic parts back in shape, use caution!
