Many many years ago I got my 907ie , red with Bologna Registration mark, from a chap in Bologna who had it slightly modified.

Basically he had a small accident and while repainting it, he decided to change the wheels from white to metallic grey.

I kept the bike like that for some time , then the paint stated to blister and I though it was time for a new set of wheels.

Got one set in good condition, sandblasted and powdercoated in white, new bearings and a couple of hours to do the change.

In rthe meantime I also got a set of Exhausts in better condition than mine (I had the all black version)

and ...voila!!

Looks great. Just the front brake rotors to sort out...

Seems, You have also changed calipers and master cylinder...

Not so bad modifification Anyway, those original black coloured 4 piston Brembo's are very good and if compared to next generation "golden Brembo's" in my ST2 (2002 year) => i CANT find ANY diffrence in that "brake feeling". But surely also disc material means ALOT. As You know, they started to use more "stainless steel" material in "ST and 907IE-times", as they "dont look rusty after rain", but those were more slippery compared to cast iron (P750, P906) rotors. Best is cast iron rotors with black or golden Brembo's no matter they look little rusty after rain........... If rotors are wraped from too hot brakings, they have to change no matter how much friction surface is still left. Everybody do own choises!

Btw, Does anybody know, if there will be STILL available that "repair kit" to original 907 front brake master cylinder?
