I cheked just thing from my ST2 (2001) and seems, there is just "place" for that rev sender unit.
Its easy job to "metalman"(with good tools surely) to make hole and threads for mechanical rev counter.... If You cant find such from Sweden, U can find such easily from Finland...
Those are human made things and if metalman cant fix them, then not so good man.... I am electrician, so would go surely to electrical tacho!
New technology is near allways better, than old one... Btw, it should look "cool" to put electrical tacho to Paso rev counter place...
You Swedish "give up" too easily... (i know reason to that, but i dont want to say it here...)
