Hi everyone, I'm interested in purchasing a DARK 907IE. I would like if anyone can clarify something for me. Are all 907IE rated the same horsepower? or is there a specific year were it had more horsepower than the previous or next year? I have seen different horsepower ratings for the 907 and now I'm a little bit uncertain. I know the only way to find out is by dyno runs but I also know there is a manufacturer horsepower rating. Once again, thanks to all who take the time to respond and help me in my new venture...
**Preferably in the Florida state or east coast**
Regards,
Jose

I wouldn't worry about the horsepower differences, if there are any...
If you find a bike that runs smooth in every gear and at all revs, you have a healthy bike.

Yeah, what he said. I think they changed the brakes in '92 but I don't remember the power ever changing.
You may already know this but there never was a 907ie "Dark" model, comparable to what Ducati does now with various models. They did sell a black 907 but it wasn't any different than the red ones other than color. And it was a gloss black rather than the flat black of the current "dark" Ducatis.
According to your signature you already have a red '92 - any black 907 you find will be just the same other than color. (Did they make black 907s in '91? I don't remember...)
